The R in ARE (Reasoning)

The Reasoning and Evidence are the critical components of the debate. The team with better evidence and reasoning will most likely win. In the post from several days ago, I gave one example of Reasoning:

Men created the problem, so men should not be trusted to solve the problem.

There are plenty of other reasons why women should be empowered. We discussed a number of them in class last week. In A SEPARATE POST, write at least one REASON why women should be empowered as a way to get us out of the global depression we are in (you can use one of the examples we wrote down in class, or something you have thought of on your own).

Title the post: "Reason for empowering Women."

Then, after you have Posted a REASON, look at the reasons your colleagues posted. Pick one of the reasons, and respond with a COMMENT by providing a piece of EVIDENCE to support that reason.
